I'll stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
